President Kennedy’s vision for Peace is Still Relevant Today; if not more than in 1963

Max Blumenthal looks back on John F. Kennedy’s June 1963 “peace speech,” validates demand for accountability of crime.

In a nutshell, Max finds that JFK’s assassination, done by the national security deep state, cleared the way for American imperialism to really take off. Given this, JFK’s murder is as relevant today as it was when it happened. Green Liberty demands accountability for state crimes, and the JFK crime remains unsolved, and justice has not been done.

Max connects the dots between the past and the present and in doing so, he provides a clear and cogent argument for getting rid of the plutocratic power structure; they, the neocon war mongers, have put the country on generations of wars and there is no end in sight. They are ruining the country and they need to go and be replaced by real democracy.

In solidarity with Max Blumenthal’s analysis.

Our movement should invoke Kennedy’s vision for peace: a multipolar world, based on democratic values, and respect for local and national sovereignty.
