Green Liberty Debate on Appealing to Constitutional Principles to Make an Egalitarian Society

Green Renaissance Meet Up will feature a discussion / debate about the merits of appealing to original American documents like the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights for making an egalitarian society wherein the plutocracy is removed from power, or significantly limited.

Chuck Fall, as the chief proponent for a Green Liberty bloc, will make introductory remarks to frame the discussion and Emanuel Pastreich and John Spritzer will provide their perspectives on capturing the revolutionary imagination of all people of the world (not just Americans) for the purpose of building a movement that can make a difference.

Each speaker is challenged to explain the radical egalitarian notion of ‘removing the rich from power’ and describe a society that is defined by ‘real and not fake democracy.’ After terms are defined, each speaker will argue the merits (or demerits) of appealing to original documents for advancing a call for a liberation coalition to stop the seeming descent of society into a techno-totalitarian dystopia, if warnings from David Hughes are to be taken seriously.

Each speaker is responsible for defining terms so the message is not lost in the nuance.

Green Liberty is in solidarity with radical egalitarianism with an awareness that non-radical forms of an Egalitarian society exist that could  provide transitional projects that could be used to change society.
